First Steps

Hi, I'm Jacqui and I am fat. Yup, I said it. My stats as of Saturday 11/12/11 are:

Weight: 224 lbs.
Height: 5'9"
BMI: 33.1

Waist Measurement: 46.5 inches
Hip Measurement: 47.5 inches
Waist to Hip Ratio: 0.97

L Thigh Measurement: 26 inches
L Calf Measurement: 17 inches
R Thigh Measurement: 26 inches
R Calf Measurement: 17 inches

So yeah, I'm fat. Heck, I'm to a point where I could (theoretically, although it is doubtful) get on the Biggest Loser.

I also want to run a marathon. Yup, 26.2 miles (although I've learned that wasn't the original length, it's the current length used.)

So I'm going to do both, I'm going to lose weight and train for a marathon. I'm not currently signed up for a race, but even if I don't, I do plan on running my own marathon in the next year.

So this place is a place to read my journey to run a marathon and lose weight and for you to learn how to do it too.
